What effects does Veena have?

As of September 2026, Veena has 10 built-in effects: Utility, Reverb, Compressor, Chorus, Delay with tempo sync and ping-pong, Distortion, Phaser, Flanger, 8-Band EQ and Auto-Tune. They go on each clip in its FX tab, and your own VST3 and AU effects load in the same place through Veena Bridge.

How do I make the kick and bass sit together in Veena?

Ask CoProducer for the outcome, for example: make the kick punch through the bass. It carves room with EQ and level on the bass clips and measures the low end again afterwards. By hand, trim a little low end from the bass with the 8-Band EQ and balance the two faders in Veena's Mixer.

Mixing in Veena by hand

Open the Mixer. Click Mixer in the dock at the bottom of the studio. Every track gets a fader from +6 dB down to minus infinity, a pan control, mute and a level meter. The master strip sets the overall volume and feeds Veena's built-in master limiter.
Set the balance. Loop the busiest section by dragging across the ruler, pull the faders down, bring up the part the song is about (usually the vocal or the kick) and fit everything else around it.
Place things left and right. Keep kick, bass and lead vocal in the centre; pan doubled guitars, backing vocals and percussion out to the sides.
Add effects to a clip. Select a clip, open its FX tab in the dock, press the FX card and pick from Stock FX, built into Veena. Effects run in the order shown: drag a card to reorder it, switch it off to compare, remove it with ×.
Fix one clip. Right-click a clip and choose Open Control Panel for its own volume and pan, handy when one take is louder than the rest.
Bring your own plug-ins. The VST card in the same FX tab loads your VST3 and AU effects through Veena Bridge.

Open Ask CoProducer and describe the mix you hear in your head:

CoProducer measures the song's loudness and frequency balance first, then sets level, pan and effects part by part: EQ, compression, reverb, delay, saturation and width, or deliberate restraint when a genre wants a dry mix. After applying, it measures again against the targets it set, such as a brighter top end or less low-end build-up, and makes one narrower adjustment if the result falls short. A treatment for a part reaches every copy of that part across your arrangement, so the verse bass and chorus bass match. Want the vocal quieter in the verse and louder in the chorus? Tips for a cleaner mix

Cut before you boost. On pads, keys and guitars, a few dB off around 250 Hz with the 8-Band EQ often clears more room for the bass than turning the bass up.
A/B the pass. After CoProducer mixes, press Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z to flip between before and after on the same loop.
Tune in the chain. Auto-Tune sits in the same FX list, with key, scale, amount and a natural or hard style.
Mix in context. Solo sparingly; the chorus with everything playing is the mix that matters.
