Smoother playback in Veena: what changed

Playback keeps continuity when pausing and resuming, when an EQ curve changes and when a track uses several effects. The audio engine preserves the processing state across its playback blocks, reducing the interruptions that these actions previously caused. Your project’s effects remain editable during the song.

Use the current workflow

  1. Play a song in Veena and pause at a section you want to inspect.
  2. Resume from that point, then open a track’s FX.
  3. Adjust or bypass an EQ card while listening, and save the mix you choose.

Choose the session’s output and buffer in the audio and sound guide, then continue listening and shaping the mix.

Frequently asked questions

What changed when I pause and resume in Veena?

Veena’s playback now carries the song forward from the audio position used when pausing, with the processing state kept for the next block. Resume the same section and listen in context. The sound guide explains output and buffer settings if your device still needs a larger playback buffer.

Can I adjust EQ while my Veena song plays?

Yes. Veena keeps the EQ card editable during playback, and this release improves continuity across EQ changes. Turn the control while listening to the full mix, then bypass the card to compare its contribution. Save the project when you settle on the frequency balance you want.

Can a Veena track use several effects together?

Yes. Add multiple effect cards in a Veena track’s FX rack and drag them into the order you want. This release improves playback through those chains. Bypass individual cards to compare, and use the track’s fader and master chain to judge the result with the song’s other parts.
