What formats can I export from Veena?

Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser. It exports 24-bit/48 kHz WAV, 320 kbps MP3, MIDI, and MP4 when the project has video.

Can I export stems from Veena?

Yes. In Export, choose WAV or MP3 and then Stems. Veena writes one file per audible track, with that track's effects, volume and pan, into a single zip; muted tracks are skipped. With Normalize audio for export on, every stem gets the same gain, so the set still balances like your mix.

Does Veena limit or watermark exports?

No. Veena puts no cap on exports and no watermark on any file, on any plan, free included, so you can export the mix or every track as often as you like. Veena's terms say you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service.

Can I export a video from Veena?

Yes, when the project contains a video clip. Choose MP4 in Veena's Export tab and you get the video with your mixed audio. Import MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, M4V or AVI files, score them on the timeline with CoProducer, and export the finished cut.

Veena export formats cover every way a song leaves the studio: WAV at 24-bit/48 kHz for masters and other DAWs, MP3 at 320 kbps for sharing, MIDI for the notes alone, and MP4 when your project has video, as a full mix or as stems in one zip. Exporting is free on every plan, with no cap on how often and no watermark on any file.

How to export from Veena

Open Export. Click your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose Export. Studio Settings opens on its Export tab.
Name the file in Filename.
Pick the format: WAV, MP3 or MIDI. MP4 appears when the project contains video.
Pick the contents for WAV or MP3: Full mix sums every track through the master chain into one file; Stems writes one file per track, with its effects, volume and pan, zipped together. Muted tracks are skipped.
Decide on normalizing. Normalize audio for export is on by default and moves the whole export so its loudest peak lands at -0.1 dB; stems share one gain, so their balance holds. Switch it off to keep the exact level you hear.
Check the summary and export. Veena shows the file count, the file names, the quality and the estimated size before you press the button, which reads Export WAV, Export MP3 or, for stems, how many files you'll get. Cancel Export stops a render in progress.

Stems download as one zip named after your file, and each stem carries its track's name: export a project called My Song and the Lead Vocal track arrives as My Song - Lead Vocal.wav inside My Song-stems.zip. For a single MIDI clip, use Download MIDI file in its piano roll; see MIDI editing.

Ask CoProducer to get the project ready

CoProducer doesn't press Export for you, but it gets the song ready in one request:

"Rename the tracks Kick, Snare, Bass, Keys and Lead Vocal so my stems are labelled."
"Mute the guide vocal so it's left out of the stems."
"Master this for streaming before I export." See mastering in Veena.

When Export is greyed out

The Export tab tells you why in plain words:

"No clips found to export." The project is empty; add or record something first.
"Every track is muted, so there is nothing to export." Unmute at least one track.
"This project has no MIDI clips, only audio." MIDI export needs a MIDI part; ask CoProducer to transcribe an audio clip into one.
"This project has no video content." MP4 needs a video clip on the timeline.
Audio still loading. Wait until every clip has finished loading, then export.

What you can do with your exports

You own your music: Veena's terms say "you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service", and there's no watermark in any export.
