Reverb tails in Veena: what changed
Track reverb now gives the Decay setting its intended effect on the tail, and the default Mix makes the room audible after a note stops. The processing reserves the tail together with its pre-delay, so that space remains part of the processed audio. The existing effect controls and presets stay available.
Use the current workflow
- Open the track’s FX rack in Veena and add Reverb from Stock FX.
- Play a short phrase and listen after the notes stop.
- Adjust Decay and Mix in the song, then export with the processing enabled.
Shape the room’s Decay and Mix with the effects guide, then hear it against the full arrangement.

Frequently asked questions
How do I hear a reverb tail in Veena?
Add Reverb to a Veena track’s FX rack and play a short note or phrase, then listen after the source stops. Decay controls the tail and Mix sets the wet contribution. This release makes the room audible at the defaults, so you can judge the space before changing its settings.
What does Decay change on Veena’s Reverb card?
Decay changes how long the track reverb’s room tail rings in Veena. A longer setting keeps the space going after the source stops, while Mix sets how much of that room you hear. Listen against the next phrase so the tail supports the song’s rhythm rather than crowding it.
Does Veena export the reverb I hear on the track?
Veena renders the enabled track reverb when exporting the song. Its processed audio includes the reserved decay and pre-delay tail, using the same effect settings you inspect in the project. Check the track and master chains before export, then choose Full mix or separate tracks as needed.
