Veena on phones and tablets
Veena on phones and tablets puts CoProducer, your personal music producer, in your pocket. On a phone, Veena opens Pocket Studio: the same studio as on a laptop, laid out for your thumb. Start a song from one sentence, pick each part from three options, record an idea with your phone's microphone, and open the very same song on your laptop. It runs free in your phone's browser, with nothing to install.
Start a song on your phone
- Open daw.veena.studio in Safari or Chrome and sign in with Google.
- Your Projects lists every song on your account, each with when it was last edited and how many tracks it has. Tap New Project, then Open.
- The studio opens straight away. CoProducer's prompt box sits at the foot of the screen, with two quick-start prompts above it, such as "Build me a hip hop beat". Tap one, or describe your own song in the box and send it.
- CoProducer builds the song part by part, and the line above the prompt box always says what it is doing right now. Tap that line to open CoProducer full screen: the whole conversation, the model menu and Stop.
Pick each part from three options
When CoProducer offers options for a part, they appear as chips under a row that names the part, with arrows to step between the parts waiting for your pick.
- Tap an option and it lands on its track and plays in the song, looping the section it covers. Tap another to swap it in without the loop restarting.
- Select and Continue keeps the one you picked and moves on to the next part.
- Skip puts the track back as it was.
- More Options asks CoProducer for another round.
The play button in the middle of the transport plays and pauses everything, so you always hear an option in the mix, never on its own.

Record an idea
Tap record in the transport. The count-in clicks on the record button, and the first time your browser asks for the microphone. Your take lands on the selected track, or on a fresh one if none is selected. Hold the record button for the record options: which microphone, its volume, latency calibration and monitoring. Then hand the take to CoProducer: "build a song around my recording", "turn my humming into a saxophone", or "add drums and bass that follow this guitar".
Share and export from your phone
Tap Share at the top to invite someone into the song: they join the same session in real time, on a phone or a laptop. Tap the song's name, then Export, for WAV 24-bit/48 kHz, MP3, MIDI or every track as stems, with no cap and no watermark.
Open it on your laptop
Nothing needs exporting in between. Phone and laptop open the same project, saved to your Veena account: sign in at daw.veena.studio on the laptop and the song is in Your Projects. The full studio adds the piano roll, the mixer and effects, and your own plug-ins through Veena Bridge.
Tablets and narrow windows
Veena decides by window width: 1000 px or wider opens the full studio, narrower opens Pocket Studio. Every current iPad clears 1000 px when held sideways, so it opens the full studio, and the iPad file picker accepts audio and MIDI files. Most tablets held upright open Pocket Studio. The same rule holds on a laptop: a browser window narrowed below 1000 px shows Pocket Studio, and widening it brings the full studio back.
If sound stops after a phone call or switching apps, tap play again: Veena picks the audio back up.
