CoProducer isn't responding
CoProducer not responding can mean Veena is waiting for your option pick, queued work, a stopped transport or an account action, which you can check in the panel.

CoProducer not responding: check these steps
- Check for an option waiting on you. CoProducer’s carousel offers parts to choose. Pick an option, choose More Options or press Skip so the next dependent part can proceed.
- Read the current status. The narration, to-do count and activity rows show a build’s current work. Clips arriving on the timeline mean the run is still making progress.
- Inspect Up next. A follow-up waits until the current actions finish and the next available step reads it. A paused option pick must be answered before that next step can proceed.
- Pause the song for a processing task. Mastering and some recording operations need the transport stopped. Press Play/Pause and follow the task’s visible instruction.
- Check the account window. Use the account window for a top-up or plan action, then return to CoProducer. Unsent words return to the prompt box for you to keep editing.
- Use Stop for a run you want to end. Take back queued messages you no longer want first, because a remaining queued message can start after Stop.
- Use Retry after a failed request. Inspect what already landed in the project before retrying or asking for a narrower change.
Follow-ups join ongoing work
You can send a correction while CoProducer works; the prompt box remains available. In Shared chat, a message can join a collaborator’s ongoing shared run. My chat stays private, and private messages are not displayed as Private request rows in the shared queue. The project still has one active producer run at a time.
After a phone screen lock
When the browser returns to the foreground, Veena can wait out a lost connection and continue the producer’s request. Keep the studio tab open and give it a moment to resume. If sound stopped after a call or switching apps, press Play again to resume the audio session.
Give the next request a clear target
When a result is present but needs a correction, describe the exact part and change instead of asking for the entire song again. "Keep the drums and redo the bass in bars 9 to 16" makes the next action easy to inspect in the timeline.

Stop, then send again
- Take back any queued instruction you no longer want from Up next.
- Press Stop generation, or Esc, to end the active run.
- Use Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) for applied changes you want to undo. Keep the parts that already work.
- Send a request naming the part, bars and musical change: "Keep the drums; make only the verse bass simpler."
Failed CoProducer runs are refunded: the free request is not counted and the Veena Pro credits spent on the failed run are returned. Your delivered tracks stay editable, so keep your chosen parts and continue the song.
Tasks that need playback stopped
If Veena asks you to stop playback for mastering, stem separation, transcription or re-voicing, press Play/Pause and follow the task’s instruction. These actions change or analyze audio in the project. A quiet transport is a processing requirement, while a waiting option is a musical decision.
If the panel still has no activity, check the connection, save the project and reload the studio. Your song and the delivered parts remain available to inspect.

Use Retry to continue the CoProducer request. Keep the parts you have chosen, then name the next instrument, section and bars you want it to build.
Choose the drum or chord option you want, then ask CoProducer to build the next part around those choices. Its activity rows and delivered summary connect the request to the real tracks on your timeline.

Veena has one active CoProducer run per project. Shared-chat messages can join that active run at its next available step; an option pick must be answered before it continues. Up next shows messages still waiting to be read, and you can take yours back while its take-back control remains available.
What happens when I reach the daily limit on Veena's free plan?
Veena opens the account window headed You’ve run out of free usage today. Your unsent words return to the prompt box, and manual editing, recording, mixing and export remain available. The free allowance returns the next day. Veena Pro removes the daily request cap and unlocks the premium models.
What happens when CoProducer times out in Veena?
Veena offers Retry to continue the CoProducer request while keeping the parts already delivered in your project. You can also ask for the next part by name and bar range, such as a bassline for the verse. The activity rows show the work, and the option cards let you choose the sound you want.
