Credits and the daily allowance
Veena credits and the daily allowance are the two ways CoProducer, your personal music producer, is metered. The free plan gives you a daily allowance of requests; Veena Pro replaces it with 20,000 credits a month and no daily cap. Editing, recording, mixing and exporting use neither, on any plan.

What counts as a request on the free plan
Counts: each message you type to CoProducer, whether it asks for a new song, a change, a sound search or a stem split.
Does not count:
- picking one of the 3 options CoProducer offers for a part, or pressing Skip;
- letting a build continue; one that has started always finishes, even past the day's limit;
- a run that fails;
- Separate into Stems from a clip's right-click menu;
- anything you do yourself: editing notes, recording, mixing, exporting.
So one well-written request that builds a whole song, with your picks along the way, costs one request. That is the best reason to put genre, tempo, key, instruments and bars in a single message.
How Veena Pro credits work
Each $20 payment adds 20,000 credits. CoProducer spends them as it works, per step of a run, based on how much it does and which model does it: a full arrangement on a premium model draws more than a small edit on a basic model. Stem separation on Pro is charged by processing time.
- Order: subscription credits are used first, then top-ups.
- Rollover: unused subscription credits carry into the next month while you stay subscribed.
- Cancelling: subscription credits are removed when the subscription ends; top-up credits stay on your account.
- Top-ups: $5, $10, $20 or $50 from the Top Up tab, at the plan's rate of 1,000 credits per dollar; they are added straight away and never expire.

- The ring around your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar: remaining requests on the free plan, remaining credits on Pro. Green, then yellow, then red.
- Profile tab: Credits Remaining on Veena Pro, with the date your credits next refresh.
- Top Up tab: your Current balance.
- Billing tab: the Refreshes on date for your subscription.

Does Veena charge credits on the free plan?
No. Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser. The free plan uses a daily CoProducer allowance instead of credits.
What counts as a CoProducer request in Veena?
On Veena's free plan, one request is one message you type to CoProducer: a new song, a change, a sound search. Picking or skipping one of its options, letting a build continue, and a run that fails all cost nothing, and a right-click Separate into Stems uses none of the allowance. It resets at midnight UTC.
Do Veena credits roll over?
Veena Pro's subscription credits roll over from month to month for as long as you stay subscribed, and they are removed when the subscription ends. Top-up credits never expire and stay on your account after cancelling. Veena always spends subscription credits first, so your top-ups last longest.
What does a Veena credit cost?
Veena Pro's $20 a month includes 20,000 credits, and top-ups add credits at the same rate: $5 buys 5,000, $10 buys 10,000, $20 buys 20,000 and $50 buys 50,000. Top-up credits never expire, and failed CoProducer runs give their credits back.
