Send follow-ups to CoProducer

Updated October 2026By Veena Studio

Send follow-ups to CoProducer while it works by typing your next instruction and pressing Enter; Veena queues it for the next available step in the ongoing request.

Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser.

Send follow-ups to CoProducer, step by step

  1. Start the song request. Type your brief into the CoProducer prompt box and press Enter. The build begins in the project.
  2. Keep typing when an idea changes. The prompt box stays available. Ask for a correction or an additional part, such as "keep the tempo but make the bass less busy."
  3. Press Enter to queue the message. It appears in Up next above the prompt box. CoProducer reads it after its current set of actions finishes, at the next available step.
  4. Take it back before it is read if needed. Use the row’s take-back control; your words return to the prompt box for editing.
  5. Choose any waiting musical options. If CoProducer is paused for your pick, choose or skip the part so its next step can read the queued words.
  6. Use Stop when you need the current work to end. Queued messages can start afterwards as the next request, so take back messages you no longer want before stopping.
  7. In Shared chat, send into the shared work. A follow-up to a collaborator’s shared run joins that run. Private messages stay in their sender’s private chat.

Give a precise correction

Name what stays as well as what changes: "keep the drums, change the piano to a warmer sound, and leave the verse melody alone." CoProducer considers the ongoing request together with the new message and can update its plan or revise an earlier decision.

Usage follows each sender

Each message you send uses your own daily CoProducer allowance on the free plan, or your own Veena Pro credits. The account window keeps your unsent words in the prompt box, ready to edit and send.

The queue is for the open browser tab. Keep that tab open while building and watch the latest answer for what landed in the song.

Keep the drums you are making, make the bass less busy, and leave space for the lead melody in the second half of each phrase.

Frequently asked questions

How do I send a correction while CoProducer is working?

Type your correction in Veena’s CoProducer prompt box while the run is active. The message waits in Up next until its next available step reads it. Name the part and bars you want changed, and answer any waiting option pick. Take back a message you no longer want before the run reads it.

Must I wait for CoProducer to finish before sending a correction?

No. Veena lets you type and send while CoProducer works. Your message appears in Up next and is read at the next available step after the current actions finish. Give the part and the change you want, and CoProducer can update the ongoing plan or revise an earlier decision in the same project.

Who uses the allowance for a shared CoProducer follow-up?

The person who sends the follow-up uses their own allowance or Veena Pro credits. In Veena’s Shared chat, a message can join a collaborator’s active shared request instead of waiting for the whole build to finish. A private message stays in that person’s My chat, and unsent messages can be taken back before delivery.
