CoProducer follow-ups in Veena
CoProducer follow-ups in Veena, released on 24 September 2026, let you send a new instruction while the producer is still working on the song.
Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser.
CoProducer follow-ups in Veena: what changed
The prompt box stays available during a run. Enter queues the message in Up next; CoProducer reads it after the current actions finish, at the next available step. It considers the original request and the new message together, so a correction can change the plan or revise an earlier decision.
In Shared chat, a collaborator’s message can join an active shared run instead of waiting for the entire request to finish. Private queued messages remain in My chat. The sender’s own free allowance or Veena Pro credits account for the message. A queued message can be taken back until the running request has read it.
Try it in your song
- Start a request. Describe the song or change you want in CoProducer and press Enter.
- Send the correction. Type the new instruction while it works and press Enter again.
- Watch Up next. Use the take-back control before delivery if you want to edit the message.
- Answer a pick. Choose a waiting option or Skip so the run can reach its next step.
In your editable project
Stop ends the current run; a remaining queued message can then start as the next request. Take back messages you no longer want before using Stop. If the account window blocks a request, unsent words return to the prompt box. Your musical decisions and the parts already placed remain visible in the project while you decide what to do next.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send a follow-up while CoProducer works in Veena?
Yes. Veena keeps CoProducer’s prompt box available during an active run. Send a correction naming the part and bars; it waits in Up next until the next available step can read it. Answer any option pick that is blocking progress, and take back a waiting message if you change your mind.
When does CoProducer read a queued message in Veena?
CoProducer in Veena reads the queued message at its next available step after the current actions finish. If it is paused on a part choice, answer that pick first. It can update the ongoing plan using the new instruction, and you can take back an unsent message before the run has read it.
Can a collaborator join the ongoing CoProducer request in Veena?
Yes. A message sent into Veena’s Shared chat can join the active shared run. It is read at the next available step and uses its sender’s own allowance or Pro credits. My chat remains private, and private queued messages stay in the sender’s private tab rather than appearing in the shared queue.
