Free Auto Tune Online
Veena is free auto tune online with a personal music producer built in. Record your voice or drop in a vocal, set the key, and Veena's Auto-Tune effect tunes it natural or hard in your browser, with nothing to install. Then CoProducer builds the beat around your take, as real tracks you can edit and export.
A free auto tune plug-in still needs a DAW installed to host it, and a vocal tuner page stops at the tuned file. Veena is the whole studio in one tab: record, tune, clean the vocal, build the song and export it, free.
Who free auto tune in Veena is for
- Rappers and singers who want the hard-tuned sound of trap and hyperpop on their own vocals, today, without buying a plug-in.
- Singer-songwriters who want a few drifting notes steadied so the take sounds confident, not processed.
- Cover artists recording their own voice over an accompaniment, who want the vocal in key with the band.
- Anyone on a Chromebook, a work laptop or a phone, where installing a plug-in and a DAW is not an option. Veena runs in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Firefox and Safari.
How to auto tune your voice for free, step by step
- Open daw.veena.studio and sign in with Google. A new project opens in the browser.
- Get your vocal in. Press Record, pick your mic, run the one-time volume and latency calibration and set a count-in of 1 or 2 bars. Or drag a vocal file you already have onto the timeline.
- Set the key. If the song's key is unknown, select the vocal clip and use Find Key, which detects the key of the recording.
- Tune it. Right-click the clip and choose Auto-Tune for a quick pass in the project key at 80% with the Natural style. For full control, open the clip's FX tab: Key, Scale (major or minor), Amount from 0 to 100% and Style, Natural or Hard.
- Listen and adjust. Play the vocal against the music and move Amount until the tuning sits where you want it.
- Export. A 24-bit/48 kHz WAV or a 320 kbps MP3 of the mix, or every track on its own, with no watermark.
Natural or hard: the settings that matter
| The sound you want | Style | Amount | Where you hear it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invisible polish | Natural | 20–40% | Ballads, acoustic covers, singer-songwriter takes |
| A tight, modern pop vocal | Natural | 50–80% | Pop, R&B, worship |
| The stepped, robotic glide | Hard | 100% | Trap, hyperpop, afrobeats hooks |
Natural moves each note gradually, so slides, vibrato and breath survive. Hard snaps each note instantly to the nearest note in the scale, which is the effect itself. Whatever the setting, the key decides everything: set it to the song's key, and good notes stay where they belong. The glossary page on what Auto-Tune is explains how pitch correction listens.
A full vocal chain, free
Auto-Tune is one of Veena's built-in effects, and a finished vocal uses a few of them together. Tag your voice as Lead vocal and the Clean stage of Mix & Master offers De-Esser for sharp S sounds, Auto-Tune, Noise Removal for background hiss and Harmonizer for extra voices, each as an editable track effect. Then add the Compressor's Vocals preset so every line reads, an 8-Band EQ for tone and a Plate reverb for space. Or ask CoProducer: "tune my vocal to the key, de-ess it and put it in a short room", and it sets the chain for you. The guide to clean vocals in Veena walks through every control.
Already own a pitch-correction plug-in? Veena Bridge hosts your VST3 plug-ins on Mac and Windows, and Audio Units on Mac, in the same session.
Then the beat walks in
A tuned vocal over silence is half a song. Tell CoProducer what to build and it measures your take first, its tempo, its downbeat and where your syllables land, then sets the project to match. Every part it writes follows your phrasing: 808s that slide where you breathe, drums that leave room for the words, chords in the key you tuned to. You get three takes of every new part to choose from, and every one is a real track you can edit.
The online recording studio page covers the full recording setup, and the quick way to record your voice online starts from a single take.

Soundtrap's own site says "Access to Vocal tuning and Automation available on the Sound Starter, Music Production, and Production & Vocals plans", so its free plan has no tuning (Soundtrap's pricing page and help centre, September 2026). BandLab offers AutoPitch effects free, a real strength, but the beat, the bass and the arrangement around your vocal are still yours to build. Free plug-ins tune well once you have a DAW installed to run them.

Try this in Veena
Build a 140 BPM melodic trap beat in F# minor around my vocal on track 1: tune my vocal with Auto-Tune in F# minor, Hard style at full amount, keep my timing exactly as it is, then add sliding 808s that follow my phrasing, crisp hi-hat rolls, a dark piano riff and an ambient pad, with the first 4 bars as just my vocal and the pad.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free auto tune online?
Yes. Veena has a built-in Auto-Tune effect on every plan, free in your browser with nothing to install: set the key, scale, amount and a natural or hard style on any vocal clip. Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser.
Can I auto tune a vocal I already recorded?
Yes. Drag the file into Veena, which opens WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, AIFF and more, and it lands as an audio clip on its own track. Right-click it and choose Auto-Tune for a quick pass in the project key, or open the clip's FX tab to set Key, Scale, Amount and Style yourself. Export the tuned vocal as WAV or MP3.
How do I get the hard, robotic auto tune sound?
Set Veena's Auto-Tune to the song's key, choose the Hard style and push Amount to 100%. Hard snaps every note instantly to the nearest note in the scale, which gives the stepped glide of trap, hyperpop and modern pop hooks. For polish nobody hears, choose Natural at a modest amount instead.
What key should I set auto tune to?
The key of the song you are singing over. If you don't know it, select your recording in Veena and use Find Key, which detects the key of the audio, then set Auto-Tune's Key and Scale to match. A wrong key drags good notes to wrong ones, so this one setting decides whether the tuning sounds right.
Can I export my tuned vocal for free?
Yes. Veena exports the full mix or one file per audible track, as 24-bit/48 kHz WAV or 320 kbps MP3, with no cap and no watermark, on the free plan. CoProducer works from a free daily allowance; Veena Pro, $20 a month, removes the daily request cap and unlocks the premium models.
Can Veena make a beat to go with my tuned vocal?
Yes. Ask CoProducer to build around your take: it measures the vocal's tempo, downbeat and where each syllable lands, sets the project to match, then writes drums, bass and chords that follow your phrasing. Every part is a real track you can edit, re-voice or mute, and your vocal stays exactly as you recorded it.
