Is there an AI that can produce my song for me?

Published By Veena Studio

Is there an AI that can produce my song for me? Yes: Veena, an AI DAW with a personal music producer, CoProducer, built in. It produces your own song: bring your vocal, voice memo, melody or demo, and CoProducer builds the drums, chords, bass and arrangement around it as real tracks you can edit. It is free, it runs in your browser, and the song you finish is yours to export and release.

How to have AI produce your song in Veena

1. Open a project for your song. Sign in at daw.veena.studio with your Google account and double-click New Project in Your Projects. Six empty tracks wait for your recording, with CoProducer ready in the panel beside them.

2. Bring your song in. Press record in the transport bar and sing it: a count-in of 1 or 2 bars gets you ready, and a red box shows where the take will land. Or press Upload to drop in a voice memo, demo or old bounce; Veena reads 13 audio formats plus MIDI. No recording yet? Describe the whole song in one sentence instead.

3. Ask CoProducer to produce it. Drag the clip into the CoProducer panel and describe the song the way you would to a producer:

Produce my recorded vocal as a 92 BPM indie pop song in A minor: 4-bar intro, 16-bar verse, 8-bar chorus, 16-bar verse, 8-bar chorus, 4-bar outro. Pop kit drums, Upright Piano chords, a Round Bass line and a Vox Pad under the choruses. Fit every part to my phrasing and keep my vocal on top.

CoProducer measures the take's tempo and where your phrases fall, sets the project to match, and writes every new part to fit your recording.

4. Choose your parts. Each new part arrives as 3 options in one carousel. Hover to hear one, press Enter to add it, or pick More Options or Skip. A part that has to fit another waits for your choice, so the bassline is written against the chords you kept.

5. Shape it in plain words or by hand. Ask for "a busier hi-hat in the choruses" or "an 8-bar bridge before the last chorus", or open any MIDI clip in the piano roll. Hummed a riff? CoProducer turns it into an instrument line or editable MIDI. Auto-Tune and the mixer are there for your vocal.

6. Export. Click your avatar, choose Export, pick WAV or MP3 and Full mix or Stems, and press Export.

What's free

  • CoProducer: a daily allowance of requests. Picking or skipping options does not use it.
  • The studio: recording, timeline, piano roll, Beat Maker and mixer, with up to 5 projects at a time.
  • Export: WAV 24-bit/48 kHz, MP3 320 kbps, MIDI and stems, with no cap and no watermark. You own the Output you generate.

Veena Pro, $20 a month, removes the daily request cap and unlocks the premium models.

How Veena compares with Suno, Udio and BandLab for producing your song

Suno and Udio are generators: they turn a prompt into a finished audio track. BandLab is a free online DAW with AI tools on its paid plans. Facts below are from each company's own pricing, help and terms pages, as of October 2026.

Udio's help centre says downloading of audio, video and stems has been disabled, so a song made there stays inside Udio. Suno's strength is one-click songs with AI-sung vocals. When the song is already yours, in your voice and your melody, Veena produces it around you and hands it back as tracks you own.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an AI that can produce my song for me?

Yes: Veena. Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser. Bring your vocal, voice memo or demo and CoProducer builds the band around it.

Can an AI produce a song around my own voice recording?

Yes. In Veena, record your vocal with a count-in or upload a voice memo, then ask CoProducer to produce the song around it. It measures the take's tempo and where your phrases fall, sets the project to match, and writes every new part to fit your recording instead of playing over it. Your voice stays the lead.

I only have lyrics and a melody in my head. Can AI produce that?

Yes, with your voice. Sing or hum the melody into Veena, then ask CoProducer to turn the humming into an instrument line or editable MIDI and build drums, chords and bass around it. Every part lands on its own track, so the song stays yours to shape note by note, in plain words or by hand.

Can I change what the AI produced for my song?

Yes. Every part CoProducer builds in Veena is a real track: chords, bass and melody are MIDI clips you edit in the piano roll, and drums open in the Beat Maker step sequencer. Ask for changes in plain words, such as a longer chorus or a different kit, and each CoProducer change is one Ctrl+Z if you preferred it before.

Do I own the song if an AI produces it in Veena?

Yes. Veena's terms say you own the Output you generate through your use of the service, on the free plan as on Veena Pro. Export WAV 24-bit/48 kHz, MP3 320 kbps, MIDI or stems with no cap and no watermark, then release, sell or license the song like any other track you made.
