Uploaded clips stay where you move them in Veena after the clip placement on release was corrected.

Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser.

Uploaded clips stay where you move them: what changed

An uploaded clip now commits its new arrangement position when the pointer is released. The clip follows the drag and remains at the chosen bar, rather than returning to its starting position. The same arrangement remains available to CoProducer as musical context.

Use the current workflow

  1. Upload your own recording into the Veena arrangement.
  2. Drag the clip to its new bar or track, then release it.
  3. Play that section and check the placement against the other parts.

Use audio editing to move, trim and split your recording in the arrangement.

Play the section after moving the phrase, then ask CoProducer to build chords or bass around that recording.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move an uploaded recording in Veena?

Yes. Drag your uploaded recording to the bar and track you want in Veena, then release it. The clip’s new position remains in the arrangement. Listen to it with the other parts before saving, or ask CoProducer to build drums and bass around your recording at that position.

Does moving a clip change its recording in Veena?

Moving a clip in Veena changes where that material plays in the arrangement. It does not require replacing the original performance. Keep the take in your project, adjust its position against the song’s bars, and use the Waveform or Control Panel for separate pitch, tempo, level and pan decisions.

Can I arrange my recordings with CoProducer in Veena?

Yes. Give CoProducer your recording as context in Veena and describe the part, bars and musical result you want. The recording remains a clip in the arrangement alongside editable tracks. You can move or resize the material yourself and continue building the song from the same project.
