Is Suno Premier worth it? For most musicians, no: $30 a month buys credits for up to 2,000 songs but only 60 downloads, plus a Studio that won't load your plug-ins, and neither the plan's credits nor its downloads roll over (Suno's pricing page and help centre, September 2026). What Suno Premier buys (September 2026)
Premier costs $30 a month, or $288 a year billed up front ($24 a month). Suno's pricing page lists what that buys:
- Suno Studio, "now with MIDI, effects, automation, and design-your-own-plugins"
- 10,000 credits a month
- 60 song downloads a month, with Studio exports uncapped
- The v6 and v6-wild models, and commercial use rights
- Advanced Split, a third stem mode, and uploads up to 30 minutes
- "Add new vocals or instrumentals to existing songs", priority queue and early access

The song counts use Suno's own rate: "Each time you generate, you make two songs with a total cost of 10 credits." Max Mode and prompts with many images or videos cost more.
The Suno Premier maths
Downloads cost the same as on Pro. $10 for 20 downloads and $30 for 60 both work out at 50 cents a song. The extra $20 buys Studio and credits, not cheaper downloads.
You make far more than you can take. Up to 2,000 songs a month from Premier's credits, 60 downloads outside Studio: 3%. The rest stay on Suno, playable and shareable, until you spend a download on them. "Limits apply to all downloads starting September 3, including songs created before that date."
Nothing carries over. "Credits included in subscriptions do not carry over from day to day or month to month", and "unused downloads don't carry over." A quiet month is money gone.
Studio has walls. It is "not compatible with VST or Audio Units plugins", "mobile devices are not supported", and Suno warns that "some users may experience timing issues." The full verdict is in is Suno Studio worth it.
Who Suno Premier suits
Read against Suno's own feature list, Premier is built for one person: someone who generates hundreds of songs a month, works entirely inside Studio's own effects and synth, needs Advanced Split's list of "nearly 100 instruments", and is happy to take 60 finished files a month outside Studio.
If that isn't you, you are paying $30 a month for a generator with a studio attached. And the attachment goes when the payments stop.
What goes when you stop paying
- Downloads drop to free-tier limits. In Suno's words: "If you cancel your subscription … downloads follow free tier limits." Free trial downloads carry no commercial rights.
- Studio goes. "Studio is included in the Premier subscription tier."
- Top-ups freeze. Purchased credits "do not expire, but require an active subscription to use."
- An annual plan is paid up front. $288 on day one. When the caps arrived, Suno's FAQ answered annual subscribers who had paid for uncapped downloads by pointing them to cancel at suno.com/account.
