CoProducer next-step buttons in Veena: what changed
A completed CoProducer reply can offer short next-step buttons beneath its summary. Clicking one submits the full musical instruction attached to that suggestion. Only the newest reply keeps its buttons, and they are disabled while another run is active. The studio also loops back at the arrangement’s end when playback is not recording.
Use the current workflow
- Build a part or arrangement with CoProducer and wait for its reply.
- Choose a current next-step button or type your own musical instruction.
- Listen to the editable result and make the next decision from the song.
Use CoProducer edits to make the next musical change with a button or your own words.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when I click a CoProducer next-step button?
Veena submits the musical instruction attached to that CoProducer suggestion as a new request. It uses the current project, so the next change lands on the editable song you already built. You can instead type a more specific instruction naming the part, bars and sound you want.
Why do old CoProducer replies lose their next-step buttons?
Veena keeps the suggestions on the newest CoProducer reply because older replies describe an earlier project state. Buttons are disabled during an active run. After the current work finishes, choose a current suggestion or write your own request so the next action matches the song as it is now.
Can I keep directing the song after a suggested step in Veena?
Yes. A suggested step in Veena starts another CoProducer request; it does not lock the arrangement. Listen to the result, keep the parts you like and refine the next change in words. The clips, notes and mix controls stay available for manual edits in the same project.
