Recently Deleted projects in Veena: what changed

Deleting a project removes it from the live project grid and places it in Recently Deleted. The projects page shows the recoverable songs and their remaining time. Restore returns a song to the live list, while Delete permanently removes it from the recoverable collection.

The recovery period is the same period used by the project’s deletion lifecycle. This gives you a place to recover an accidental deletion without keeping a finished or unwanted song in the live grid. The song’s saved project state is what returns when you restore it.

Try it in your song

  1. Open your projects. Leave the studio for the projects page and identify the saved song you want to manage.
  2. Delete a finished project. Use the project card’s delete action. The song moves out of the live list.
  3. Open Recently Deleted. Find the recoverable project and read its remaining recovery period.
  4. Restore or remove. Choose Restore to bring it back, or Delete permanently when you want it removed.

In your editable project

Deleting a project is different from deleting a clip or a track inside a song. The recovery collection belongs to your saved projects. Export a mix or stems when you want a separate file copy, and use Duplicate for a new arrangement experiment you want to keep beside the original.

Frequently asked questions

How do Recently Deleted projects work in Veena?

Veena moves a deleted project into Recently Deleted for 30 days. Choose its card and use Restore to return it to Your Projects, with its musical clips and settings. Delete permanently asks for confirmation and removes that recovery option. The project help explains the current card controls on computer and phone.

How long can I restore a deleted Veena project?

A deleted Veena project stays in Recently Deleted for 30 days. During that recovery window, Restore brings its saved project back into the live list. Delete permanently removes it sooner. Use the projects help for today’s card controls, and export the song when you also want a separate audio copy outside the project.

Should I duplicate or delete a project in Veena?

Use Duplicate in Veena when you want another version of the saved song for an experiment. Delete takes it out of the live list and into Recently Deleted during the recovery period. Export a mix, stems or MIDI when you want files to keep separately; those files are different from the editable saved project.
