# Veena

> Veena is an agentic, browser-based DAW (digital audio workstation) and AI music editor. Bring in a track — including AI-generated songs from tools like Suno or Udio — separate it into real, editable stems, and edit, arrange, mix, and finish it with the CoProducer: an agentic AI producer that reads your whole project, plans and carries out production steps one at a time, and hands you options at each step instead of making final creative decisions for you. Veena is a full DAW — multitrack timeline, MIDI editor, mixer, instruments, and effects — where you stay in control of every edit, not a one-shot "generate a song" box. It runs in any modern desktop browser, is free to start (Veena Pro unlocks more), and hosts your own VST/AU plugins. A native desktop app is on the way.

What you can do today: import a song from Suno, Udio, or anywhere and split it into real, editable stems; generate editable beats, drums, melodies, chords, basslines, and full multi-track song starters as MIDI; turn your voice, humming, or beatboxing into any instrument; get AI-assisted arrangement, mixing, and mastering; bring your own VST and AU plugins alongside Veena's built-in instruments and effects; and export finished tracks (WAV/MP3) or MIDI. Everything the CoProducer makes is editable — keep it, tweak it, or discard it — and you own every track you finish. No installs, no music-theory background required. Free Basic tier; Veena Pro is $20/month.

Where Veena fits versus the AI song generators: tools like Suno and Udio are built to generate a finished track from a prompt — fast, but you get a locked render you can't truly take apart or rework. Veena is the producer's half of that workflow. Bring the generated song in, separate the real stems, and actually edit, rearrange, mix, and finish it — the CoProducer does the heavy lifting while you keep creative control and full ownership of the result. Newer "agentic" DAWs like Mozart AI and Suno Studio add editing on top of generation but largely re-generate their own output; Veena works on the real audio you bring in, from any source.
